What is Wild Blueberry land
Owned by Dell and Marie Emerson. Wild Blueberry Land is a unique, family owned blueberry-themed roadside attraction located in Columbia Falls, Maine. It features a distinctive giant blueberry-shaped building, which houses a bakery and gift shop. Visitors can enjoy a variety of blueberry treats, including pies, muffins, and jams, as well as purchase blueberry-themed souvenirs. The whimsical design and focus on Maine’s famous wild blueberries make it a popular stop for tourists exploring the region.
Website planning:
When we began designing the website for this course, we scheduled regular Zoom meetings with Dell and Marie, the owners of Wild Blueberry Land. They were very kind and provided clear insights into their vision for the site. Their current website is a bit outdated and challenging to navigate. Each meeting with the clients was scheduled for Friday at 7 a.m. and could range from 5 to 60 minutes. Throughout our meetings, they reviewed our progress, shared what they liked, and offered valuable recommendations for improvements. After three months of meetings and design work, we delivered a fully updated website.
